2020 NP 377RLBH screw bit type for...

Can anyone tell me what type of screw bit they used for the outside cover to the furnace? I have a whole torx set and none of them fit those screws. Is there another type torx i'm not aware of?

Thanks in advance

I think it’s a #2 square...somebody will correct me if I’m wrong.

#2 Robertson square bit. Invest in some bits and screwdrivers. You will need them.

They must have changed them because it is definitely not a square bit. And I have several different bit sets.

It’s some sort of torx bit but none of the torx bits fit it though.

Does it need a torx with the hole in the middle?

These are the torx bits I was talking about. This is a security bit set. If you can take a pic of the screw head it would help get more responses.

Yes it is a torn but not a security torx. It’s just like it’s some odd size torx and not a normal torx size.

It ended up being a dang 8 point star, double square, whatever you want to call it instead of a 6 point torx
