2021 36KPTS and Nautilus Shower Door

Has anyone installed a Nautilus retractable shower door in a Pinnacle, specifically the 36KPTS? They don't go above 60 inches wide, and I measured my opening at 60 5/8 inches. Their documentation says they can't go wider, so I'm curious if anyone successfully installed one before I buy.

our new Nautilus Shower Door

Summary: use trim board to make your shower more narrow (60") so it fits their largest size.

We ordered the 48". The shower wall was not flat because our shower was the two piece design. The lower part was more narrow. We made up the difference by adding a strip of PVC trim board from homedepot.

This might likely be what you'll want to do... on the side that holds the roller place the PVC trim. I attached the trim with screws to the wall. Both of the Nautilus shower sides attach with double-sided tape, so just attach it to the pvc trim board.

I was forced to put the trim board on both sides and used some very small vinyl quarter round moulding (zoom into the photo) to make it look like it was factory installed.
You should not need the quarter round because you'll likely put the big side, with the roller, against the wall alongside the cabinet, just like we did, so quarter round moulding would not be visible anyway.

Had one in ours for 3 years now and so much more user friendly than the glass doors.

We have a 2020 KPTS and I'm curious. Did Jayco change the shower design for the 2021? Our shower has a fixed half wall and a short sliding glass panel that closes to keep water in. I looked at some pics of 2021's on various web sites and all of them have showers identical to ours. If yours has the fixed half wall, do you intend to tear it out to install the Nautilus door?

Yeah, we have the half wall. I'm going to take a deeper look at that this weekend to see how involved removing it will be.
