2021 Northpoint #2 awning problem

This question may have been asked….but has anyone had problems retracting and extending awning. 9 times out of 10 rear awning works because recently on 4 occasions, when retracting from the control center or on iPhone, it will stop. Front awning works fine. Both are powered by the same 30amp fuse. My thought is a problem with the sensor on the keypad when on awning #2. Any thoughts. Would love to have a wiring schematic for this rig. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Something sounds loose to me. For something like that to work intermittently usually means a loose wire. No fuse would allow something electrical to work on occasion. The motor either works or it doesn't. Something on board most likely since it happens by either control. I think I would take a look at the motor on the awning first. The caps unscrew off I believe. Check it good to see if any of the wiring feels weird. Be sure to shut the power off before of course.

I agree! I did check the wire harness coming down the frame and into the RV where all the connections are. But I didn’t check at the motor, so I’ll check it out. I’ll let you know what I find. Thanks

Hopefully it's just that easy!
