2022 Jayco NP 310RLTS

When I have my 5th wheel at the storage lot and I am not connected to shore power my battery cutoff switch does not cut off all power to my coach. When I went back a couple days later both my batteries were dead.

Note: All lights were manually turned off.

Other than the battery cutoff switch what else can I turn off to avoid dead batteries ?

On my Eagle, I still disconnect the negative terminal when in storage. My batts won’t go to zero in two days but they’ll definitely drain over time with just the disconnect off. You’ll find many threads with the same experience. I’ve never investigated what’s left on with mine but many have suggested things like the CO2 detector.

I have 21 310 rlts. I had the same issue. There should be a circuit breaker where the batteries are stored in the front. I’ve attached a couple of pictures. The first is the red battery disconnect the dealer showed me. The 2nd is the circuit breaker that will completely cut the power to the coach. No parasitic draw. Press the blue button to turn off on swing the yellow/orange tab up to turn on. That solved my problem. I talked to a service rep from the dealership and he confirmed it’s ok to do. I hope this helps.
