2025 Eagle 335RDOK

Hello all,
We are looking at ordering a 2025 Eagle 335RDOK to replace our 2017 Eagle 293RKDS. We've spent a few hours on two trips looking at a 2025 at Rhone's RV in Logan Station, PA. The salesman Guy Snyder is always very accommodating.

How are you guys liking this model? Any major issues?

I am concerned about the cable driven Bal Exact main slide.

How's the Furrion tankless do when navy showering? We do dry/boon often.

Plan to order the following options.
*Dry camping package (gen prep)
*Extreme weather package (tank heaters)
*Dual pane windows
*Maybe the Overlander II package (adds another solar panel and 1800 inverter)
*Maybe the 360° security system (wireless cameras)

We have a 2022 335 and love it. Works great for us. It’s just 2 of us that camp 99% of the time. Dry camping package is nice because of the bigger propane tanks. The generator is NOT cheap to add later. I read people are getting quotes upwards of $11K. We carry a 3650W running/ 4250 peak dual fuel generator and added soft starts to the AC unit. You can do a nice solar package on you own, if you are good at electrical work. It’s cheaper to add it yourself and better quality. The Overlander package is OK, not great and tough to expand later. The nice part is it’s covered under the warranty. The camera’s are nice. I always use mine when driving. I can’t speak to the double pane windows but I woudl think it would increase the R value for the windows. We have’t’ ran into any major issues “knock on wood”. The cable slide takes annual maintenance to keep it operating smooth. I had my slide loaded last weekend. Fridge and pantry was full to feed 15 people, and no issues. The one issue that drives me crazy is the TV in the living room sits crooked!! Drives my OCD crazy and I can’t figure out how to straighten it. 🤣

Thanks for the info! I would pull our Onan 5500 from our current unit to install the new one. As far as solar, I have a full Victron 24v dual inverter system in the current trailer I would pull to put in the new one. But for all the more the Overlander 2 package is it maybe worth while to get to have inverter capability until I install my Victron system. Overlander 1 is standard. It just a 200w panel and a MPPT controller. The Overlander 2 adds a second 200w panel and the 1800w inverter. May add a bit of resale value. We always order the dual pane windows. They definitely help for hvac and the most benefit is outside noise reduction. Also being frameless, they crank out which means you can vent the trailer when it rains. I keep my windows open when they trailer isn't on a trip or it turns into an oven.

The lot unit the TV was straight. But I have heard of others saying their TV's were crooked. I would assume the lift mechanism wasn't installed straight/level/plumb. Seems to be a common issue. Also the bar table loose or coming loose is another common complaint I'm seeing.

The other thing that a wish our unit had is 120V, upright, vertical, not horizontal outlet in the bedroom. There are 2, one either side of the bed, one in the cabinet for the washer/dryer prep, and one on the ceiling for the TV. None on a wall. I plan to add one on the side of the dresser. Easy enough to run a new line from the breaker box, through the floor where the washer waste water pipe comes through, which is under the dresser.
