22 NP washer & dryer suggestions

We have a 22 NP and it’s getting expensive using the campgrounds washers and dryers. Which ones do we like and don’t like

Whirlpool has a very good reputation as does Splendide Not sure what JAYCO is currently using, but I know NEWMAR uses Whirlpool.

I found a used splendidie vented 2100xc combo in lightly used condition. Won't do large loads, but does a good job. Got it on craigslist for... $85. DW says it's one of the best things I've bought!

Have you priced an RV washer and dryer. Other than the convenience you can pay to do laundry for what they cost. Also the combo washer/dryer unit is not as efficient as yhe separate units.

The washer and dryer will also take up payload capacity.

We would never own an RV without a washer/dryer. We use ours all the time. It's a Splendide ventless combo unit. Got it slightly used for dirt cheap of Facebook marketplace. When we have full hooks, we use it daily. When we get back home, we have next to no laundry to have to do.

We have the Splendide stackable washer on bottom dryer on top. They are a little smaller than the Maytags we had in our previous Motorhome, but they get the job done just fine. We wouldn’t be without them even though you might not be able to totally justify the price. We snowbird for 5-6 months and my wife likes the ability to do laundry when she wants without having to haul it all to the laundry facility and wait her turn in line.

We have a Splendide combo. It's the hamper, too. Get the vented. The ventless uses a condenser to take out the water during drying. However, depending on humidity, temp, and other conditions it will add humidity to your interior. Open a window slightly to allow it to take in air where you want it. We use the window next to it so we don't lose a lot of heated, or cooled, air.

We also have the splendide combo unit in our coach. The knock against it was that it takes 3 hours to complete a wash/dry cycle. Nope, it's programmable. If you don't overload it, the 25 minute wash and the 25 minute dry do a nice job. We're happy with it!

Splendide seems to be the favorite. I have seen “DW” on here a few times, does that mean
“Da wife” or “damn wife” or Darrell waltrip. Haha. I am curious to what that means
