28.5 bedroom slide

We just bought our '18 28.5RSTS late last Fall so don't have a lot of experience as to what should be the correct positioning of our bedroom closet slide when fully extended. Working on it this weekend we noticed that there is small, finger width gap, between the slides framing and the bedroom wall. Meaning it is not flush right up against the bedroom wall when fully extended. I put it in and out a couple of times and it stops at the same place each time. It works very well through that process. Can anyone with a similar unit tell me what the correct look should be when the slide is fully out? I did notice that my slide topper seemed to very tight when extended to where is stops but that could be another thread. Thanks

A finger width gap when fully extended is common.

Yep mine is the same for the bedroom slide. Kitchen and living room slide is flush.

Mines the same way.

Ours is the same also. That is perfectly normal according to our very trusted Jayco dealer. We had that same question a while back.

My slide topper is also a snug fit and that’s a good thing because it keeps it from flapping in the wind & when it rains the water runs off smartly instead of bowing in the center and collecting water. My topper is now going into its 10th year and extended for approximately 20 weeks a year and its in very good condition & It’s length is 11’ x 3’.
