28.5rls 5th superlite

We are new to the Jayco forum. We recently saw this model at a local dealer and finally decided this is what we are going with. I personally have owned a Jayco pop-up many years ago and my brother owns a Jayco TT which he loves.I read on this forum where someone was buying fromIndianaRV CONNECTION which is 3miles from the factory. The price given us was amost 30% off M.S.R.P.Needless to say i will be driving up from Florida to pick it up.Iwould love to hear what members have to say on this model and also if anyone out there has dealt with Indiana RV CONNECTION.I thank you all for the great info you provide.

HI,

I just got back last week from picking up my 28.5 BHS from Indiana RV Connection. I had no problems with any of the process. They were polite, professional and competent. They were also $4000 less than what I would have paid for the same unit down here in TX. Plus I enjoyed the road trip!

If you need any hitch work done, I recommend Dan's Hitch World in Elkhart about 18 miles back to the west of Middlebury. The folks at Dan's were fabulous. And cheaper on parts and labor than the place in Texas where I had the initial hitch work done. I have a Pullrite Superglide so I needed the capture plate installed on the trailer pinbox.

The night before I picked up the trailer I stayed at Das Essenhaus. It was very pleasant and comfortable. It has great Amish prepared food in their restaurant. The night I picked up the trailer I stayed at South Bend/Granger KOA. I recommend it also as a great place. There is also a KOA a mile up the road from Indiana RV Connection (it is the Elkhart Co/Middlebury KOA) and it looked real nice too.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome to the forum!

I have a 28.5 rls and completely enjoy it! Only problem encountered was a leaking black tank rinse connection which was repaired as warranty work by my dealer.

Hope you have as much fun from your Jayco as we do with ours!
