28.5RSTS Battery Question

A little surfing this aft reading a previous post re batteries. Got me thinking about a question I had when looking at a 28.5RSTS. I had told the dealer I wanted group 31 batteries rather than 27's he was going to install. Apparently 2 31's will not fit in the battery compartment as he showed me. Ok, so how does one check the fluid level in the batteries after they have been wired up. I don't recall enough height in the compartment to be able to stick your head in and look inside the batteries. Waiting to pull the trigger.

EagleHT 27.5RKDS with one group 27. I have to disconnect and remove the battery to check/fill levels.

Purchase a sliding battery tray..........worth the money.
