2nd AC

Who added one. And does it make a big difference in the main living area. Our bedroom is in front. Bunkhouse in rear gets.

2nd and 3rd ac units always makes a difference, always! Anytime you buy an RV always get all the ac units available and all 15K. You will definitely be happy adding a second ac. Go 15k and if it's on the highest point of the trailer I highly recommend a low profile unit.

We have 2 - 15k AC units in a similar layout as you are describing. The main one keeps the camper cool (75°-ish) in 100° temps in the sun. The 2nd one keeps it like an ice box any time. Camping predominantly in the south, I wouldn't own a camper without at 2 - 15k units now.

I added an Air Command to my 29.5bhds. Performs much better than the Mach15. The Air Command does ok solo in the direct sun here in Orlando. With two running, no problem. It’s criminal for any dealer to sell an Eagle without a 2nd AC.

Not the dealers fault! They order stock units for what people want. You'd be shocked how many people don't believe the 2nd or 3rd unit is needed. Or how many think it's too expensive to get another unit(s). I see it on here all the time. I didn't think I needed the other unit(s). I didn't order my unit with the other unit(s). Than you have people on here actually telling people they don't need more than one unit. I preach it on here all the time to order or buy a unit with all optional ac units. Also not to waste time on 13.5k units. But it happens all the time. I also preach to get the dual pane windows to help with keeping the trailer comfortable spring, summer and fall.

Do you already have a 50 amp set-up in the trailer?

I had one added. My 5th was already 50A and wired for the second unit. Had it added on before a trip to the southern states, without a doubt best thing I added. Will never have another without at least 2 A/C's

Some people think they won't camp in temps over 100F so don't order the second AC. We never figured we'd need it either but got it anyway. Glad we did since we decided to spend the summer in southern NM this year.
