3.0 Ground Control Jack's shearing off

Hey anyone else having issues with their 6 point middle Jack's breaking off at the top were they connect to the motor? I have lost both so far and they are snapping off were the pin goes through that hold them to the motor. This requires me to remove the jack from the camper before I can tow. My 5th wheel is a 2016 Northpoint. Please let me know if anyone else has had issues. Hoping is a jack problem not a control module issue. LCI when emailed will not reply so far. Thanks

Are you the same person from the Facebook NorthPoint group that I shared pictures with?
If not, then you are the second person I’ve heard of with this problem. Never heard of it before, and I don’t understand how it can happen.

No I am not. I have lost two Jack's both are the middle ones. Which is weird because the deploy only after the unit self-levels?. They have broken right at where the retaining pin passes through the top of the rod. What was your fix? Just wondering if a defect in the steel, motor or electronic! Any help would be appreciated.

It didn’t happen to me.. happened to the guy in the group. I was trying to understand what his break was, so we were posting pictures.
I am amazed that it broke there. His middle jack too.
I don’t see any fix for that.
I’ll find the thread…if you’re on Facebook then you two can discuss how you both have the same unexplained breaks.
Maybe he’s found a solution

Tried to see the post, Tried to join but so far no response. Just posted pic of the Jack's on the general form to see if any one else has had the same issue. LCI final called advised the controller and hall motors need to be checked before replacements are installed, but would not provide further.

So maybe it broke because the motor kept turning while the jack was retracted.
That makes sense.

That's my guess, hoping it's the motors not a bigger issue like the controller. But thanks for the reply. The thing is I baby this thing and have seen others lift the entire trailer off the ground. So who knows!!!
