3 bike hitch carrier?

Currently on our two week Florida annual road trip and I’m getting fed up with my Swagman carrier.

The threaded bolt at the hitch always backs itself out after a few hundred miles, which causes the whole assembly to really move around on bumps, which in turn ends up bending the top plate. Further, the threaded knobs are a real pain the deal with. You spend several minutes just spinning them on and off.

Any suggestions on a more robust and easier to load carrier that can handle three bikes?

I have had this one for 11 years now.
The rubber straps show no wear or sun damage. It also folds down which come in handy sometimes.
If your bolt has a lock washer, I don’t see how it could be coming loose.

This is my swagman 4 bike pedestal rack. The removable bumper insert that its attached to I made.
To keep mine from bouncing around in the receiver that's mounted to the trailer frame, on the bottom side of the receiver about 3" to 4" forward of the hole in the side of the receiver that you put the pin thru, I drilled and tapped a hole. Run a bolt with a lock nut installed upside down and a washer. This way you tighten the bolt up from the bottom and it presses the insert to the top of the receiver and then tighten the lock nut down and that keeps the bolt from backing out.
There is a lot of slop between the insert and the receiver and the pin acts as a pivot point. Using the bolt and locknut from the bottom keeps it from pivoting around in there. I've had our camping friends follow just to see how much the bikes bounce around back there. None. Solid as a rock.
