3 LP tanks? How does that work?

I recently acquired a 2018 Northpoint 377RLBH. It has 2 LP tanks on the road side with a regular automatic switching valve that I am used to. It also has a tank on the curb side. Can some on tell me how this tank fits into the system?

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State! Congratulations on the Northpoint!

We don't have one, but I'll toss out some possibilities.
>For a generator, or gen prep package.
>Plumbed to a quick connect port for an outside grill.
>Just an extra capacity option, and plumbed into the whole system.

Maybe someone else can chime in and be a little more help with specifics on theirs.

If you do not have the generator of the gen prep package it is space to carry another bottle for a grill, griddle, gas camp fire, etc. That's what I use it for. I carry an extra 20 lb bottle in that location.

Our unit came gen prep but with gas. We use the 3rd tank area for our water softener - had the dealer run the water lines, etc. when the unit arrived & before we took possession.

Mine is like the video (I have gen prep), however If I disconnect the single tank to fill it and the other tanks are open, the propane runs out and will empty the tanks. My regulator for the single tank will not prevent the propane from coming out. I need to swap out the regulator.
