BUT BUT that's one of those China bombs Just messing with you as I run Sailuns also. They are great tires and cheaper than GY endurance.

If you have to ask, you should replace them. 5000 miles is a long trip. A flat is not a big deal. But having to deal with the danger of being on the side of the road, and the possible damage the flat shredded tire will do to your trailer, is it worth second guessing them? You're probably better off with the cheapest tires Discount Tire offers than risking your trip on those tires. What, maybe $500 for four tires? To me that's worth peace of mind on an upcoming trip. And get Goodyear.

I lost 3 of my 4 Rainer tires within 6 months from 1.5 to 2 years old. 2 bulges and one just went flat, 2 were on the same trip 4 days apart, I replaced the 4th one when I replaced the two.
My reading online is that ST tires were not by treadware, but years. recommended was about 3-5 years. Also the recommended max speed on most ST tires is 65 mph.

The Goodyear Endurance have a speed rating of 87 MPH. That tells me they can handle the heat better than the China time bombs.
As for those of you using LT tires on your trailers, there are some good online articles as to why you shouldn't.
But, I know, we all have different opinions. Kinda like inflating tires to the maximum on the sidewall instead of by the weight/inflation pressure charts put out by the tire manufacturers.

So 3 years is the general consensus on when to replace tires on a trailer? I've had mine for right on 3 years now, they're the Goodyear Endurance 15" tires and have put about 10000 miles on them and to me they look great. So should i replace them before my next 4000 mile trip next summer?

My research tells me the Goodyear endurance tires are great and will probably last longer than three years.

Google it, check the manufacture's recommendations or e-mail and see what their recommendations are and check other sites. Stuff I read was the interior of the tire starts breaking down and you can't see that from the external view. I've see people say they've got 10-15 years on ST tires with no problems.
I switched all my Raniers out before 2 years because of problems, I'm currently running Noble and changed them to load range E and will probably swap them out at the 4 year mark, probably for the Endurance due to the higher speed rating.

I wouldn't. Not the Goodyear Endurance. It's a very good tire and I wouldn't replace it until at least five years. Just me.

We have had 5 blowouts all on Chinese tires. Two blowouts were only 19 miles apart on different sides. All of the tires had less than 5k. You think I would have learned faster there is a problem with Chinese tires. I replaced the last set with Maxxis 8008. GY Endurance was not yet available so I went with Maxxis from Korea. Somewhere around 10k on these tires and they hardly lose any air over the year. I have a tire monitor system and it told me right away the tire blew out. Didn't help much as it is too late. The 5 blowouts have cost my insurance around 10k. The bottom line is I no longer look in my mirror every 2 minutes to check if I have 4 tires going around since I changed to Maxxis.

The thing about blowouts…
When one goes, you are probably overloading at least one of the other tires, which immediately turns it into a maypop. Depending on ratings, it could be all the other tires. Most OEM tires are at the ragged edge of their weight ratings, and any event compromises them.

I know this started out as tire questions for the trailer, but I wanted to switch this to the TV tires.
I'm sure this will end up being "replace your tires idiot", but what is the longest period of time that you will leave your tires on your TV? I have a 2015 F250. I just went and looked and I have the original tires made in Oct 2014. I can assume everyone would replace them when traveling with a 5th wheel? Yes, the tires still "look good", and have 37k miles on them.
If you have left them on longer, please tell me your experiences.
btw - They are Michelins and "made in USA" is on the tire. ok - fire away.

RAM 3500 DRW comes with Korean tires, Nexen Roadian. Mine have 20,000 plus on them and they look new. Quiet & seem to ride very good. I'll see when it's time for replacement what I will do.

Goodyears Endurance only available since 2017. Might not be any better then the China made tires.

All tires will have factory defects. Can't be avoided. So yes, bubbles can form. Also the tire could of been damaged even though the owner says not. They might not been aware they hit or ran over something. So don't let that discourage you on the Endurance tires. Also any tire will fail with improper loading and/or low pressure. You'd be surprised how many people rarely check their tire pressures. Low tire pressure is the leading cause of tire failure. So much so, it's federally required all light duty vehicles have tire pressure monitoring system of some kind. I don't recall the year it became a requirement.

Don’t check pressures, overload, and fly down the highway at 70-75mph.

Yes! You'd really be surprised how many do that. China ST tires are rated for 65mph or less. Endurance 87mph I believe. LT tires would be up there too.
I check pressure before every trip, plus tire pressure/temp monitoring. Well from overloaded, across the cat scale several times. I do roll at 70 to 75, tires are rated for 87. 8100 miles on my Endurance tires. Wearing beautifully and no issues. Stable as a surgeons hand. Never got that kind of time or mileage out of China bomb tires. I will pull a trailer on the rims before I'd ever install another Chinese tire.
