30.5 MBOK Rear Lighting

We have a 2018 30.5MBOK and I am trying to figure out one of the light strips. Just above the backup camera and below the red lights is a clear light strip. I am not sure what it is and how it operates. I just had a Furrion rea observation camera installed and I was wondering if that is a night light for the camera. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I have the Furrion camera on the back of my 30.5 but there is no white light strip above it, just the running lights. My camera works good at night without anything lighting it up, so I'm not sure what you have there.

The camera has built in night vision. Is the bar you speak of a 3rd brake light?

Don't think there's a 3rd brake light on a 5th wheel.

Could be. Things change all the time. New laws, new devices, etc. I've seen semi trailers with 3rd brake lights now and marker lights that are also turn signals. DOT and ICC are always changing regulations.

I looked it up. Jaysmart lighting. That white bar is a back up light and part of the Jaysmart lighting.

No need to back up, just hook the 7-way to your truck and put it in reverse while someone watches the light.

I checked the lights to day. It is indeed a backup light. Thanks very much for the info.
