I'm a newbie here and to Jayco. Come from 3 previously owned Prowler Trailers. I have been having a few issues with our new Jayco and wondering if anyone can give me some insight.
The trailer is about a month old. Went to empty the black tank and used the flush system. When I turned the water on to the flush system, water started to run out around the foam insulation and the plumbing where you hook your hose on. Not sure if this is a leak or some other issue. (handle that dumps the grey tank broke also)
Here are a few other issues we have with it. Shower is leaking somewhere. Getting water running down by the tires outside and water inside the hallway. Can't see any leaks from under the bathroom sink. Leaks only when shower is on.
Water pipe was put on wrong on the Kitchen sink. Water leaked there and ruined the shelf under the sink. Also drains on the kitchen sink were not even hand tight. Had a few leaks there also.
Between the two water leaks there was a strong odor of urine that would almost drive you out of the trailer.
Exit window in front part of fifth wheel has a hard time opening and closing. Screws that window was put together with were to long and digging into the frame.
Sorry to rant, just a little worried I got a unit that was built on Friday before a long holiday weekend. Love the layout and looks of the trailer by the way!
