317rlok

Just did my walk-through and PDI on my 317RLOK, it will be at a campsite for the next few years, then we will travel.. this is our retirement trailer.. still have a few years to go.
Love the layout and features, wish it had a couple of other things like the second AC unit, it is pre-wired and ducted for it so we can add it in later if needed I suppose. Same with Sanicon.

We went with the King size bed, doesn't seem to be an issue for room.

We found a few things on the PDI to be addressed, Table needs to be changed, door in the bedroom for the washer hookup in needs to be changed, and some minor fit and finish stuff. I did forewarn the dealer well in advance that I would be doing an extensive PDI and I am certain they went through it again prior to my arrival(got a phone call the day I emailed them about the closet door).
We bought the 5 year extended warranty, so we are covered for most things a year or two into retirement. Should have the kinks out by then.
Never towed anything this big though... Largest was my boat at 23 feet and 7000lbs.
Happy Trails to all
Cheers

We have the same trailer, absolutely love it. Is it a 2018 or 19. Mine is an 18 so far very minor problems with it. One thing to keep an eye on is the front nose cap. Started fading very quickly, just got it back from dealership from nose cap being repainted looks great. Jayco will cover under warranty. Dealer did have it for six weeks though. Second AC is a must, that's a big trailer to keep cool. If you decide to have second AC installed make sure you get the low profile one. Mine came with second AC factory installed and it's so nice. I believe I read on here that the trailer is actually to tall with the basic 15k AC unit and that Jayco will replace with the low profile at no charge. Can someone comment on this if they know forsure. Thanks. Enjoy your new 317RLOK safe travels.

We bought a new 2018, up here in Canada.
Pretty excited to get it set up on the 23rd of April.

Just wondering, King Pin support
Yes or No

It is set up on a permanent site for a few years

You can make it with 1 AC but leave your bedroom door open on a hot night. We have a 2017 317rlok and have had to use a 30amp site a couple times.

Isn't the AC ducted into the bedroom?

I have a 2018 317rlok I am currently going through a lot of these problems faded front cap, full size front a/c unit that seems to tall and poorly installed flooring, I just had it at the dealer and they rejected to replace or repaint very disappointing, they did buff the cap and patch fixed the floor but service writer said they would not do anything on the a/c so think it’s time to call jayco direct
