321 RSTS Motion Sensor Pantry

We just picked up the trailer last Monday. PDI was pretty quick on basic operation of equipment (kid wasn't very familiar with some of it). I was able to point out a thing or two that needed fixing - missed the broken plastic corner cover by the bumper and the caulking that could have been better on the front cap.
After getting it home we have tried to itemize and organize for the first trip (close to home just in case).

We noticed yesterday that the light stays on constantly in the pantry. It's supposed to be a motion sensor. I see the sensor above, but is there a switch like the lights in the basement that can change it from motion to on? Am I missing something?
Technology....

It should time out in a couple of minutes after being activated and then turn out the lights. The two lights in our closet can be turned off with a button in the center of each light cover. I keep them turned off at the lights after realizing that when I get up in the night I create enough movement in hanging items in the closet that the lights would come on

The pantry light never seemed to go off. I could see the glow between the door jamb, and It became an obsession every time I walked by. I am wanting to put a light source (rope light or LED strip light) in the bedroom closet. I don't know why they didn't think to light in the darkest spot in the coach.

What year is your rig? We have a 2020 321RSTS. There is no off switch for the pantry strip light in our rig. You may have a malfunctioning motion sensor which would be covered under warranty. And our closet lights do have on/off/motion rocker switches. Maybe yours are turned off?

Good luck. We love our rig!

Ours is a 2020 as well. I figured the sensor was probably faulty. I guess I'll call the dealer on this as well, and get a part on order. The hazards of having a dealership 3.5 hours away.

You have closet lights? Our closet is bare. No light. No switch. I figured I would run a strip of the LED's similar to what is in the pantry...only the kind that go off.

Wow. That’s weird. Our light is the same style as in the basement storage area. Bummer! Maybe the wiring is there but they failed to install the fixture??

I ended up buying about 6 battery led puck lights that you push to turn on. I stuck them in all kinds of cabinets to give me light as needed.

That's what the wife wants for the closet. I figured that if I put up a light strip I can cover the entire closet with light.

I did get with my service department on the pantry, and after troubleshooting it, they are sending me a new motion sensor.
