321RSTS delivery update!

We just got word that our rig will exit the assembly line next Friday, August 23! One week for shipping, and some time at the dealer for inspection and installation of the Maxxair bathroom vent, and we will be ready to pick her up sometime after Labor Day!!

I've already printed out the excellent PDI checklist found on this forum, and will keep in mind all the things that I've learned can be an issue from everyone's posts. The nice thing about our dealership is they have a miniature "campground" on the property, so when you inspect and have your orientation, it is "live"--real power pedestal, water and sewer hookups. We will be able to exercise the whole rig and make sure everything is in working order before taking delivery.

I've been scrambling to get a storage parking space (they're harder to find than I thought!) but I found a great spot just today. Whew!

Now it's DW's turn to $pend, shopping for linens, kitchen gear, etc. etc.!

I also booked our first campsite at High Falls State Park (central Georgia) which will be the first of several local shakedown trips. The first big trip will be Disney World for Christmas!! Woo Hoo!

321RSTS delivery update!

That’s great. I’d be pretty excited. Follow that list at PDI. On my PDI I found a dented oven door and bad drawer glide. They robbed another trailer of a replacement oven door at PDI, and then ordered the glide.

I just dropped it off the other day for a few items. Couldn’t come up with much. Just the initial drawer glide plus one more, staples coming out of wheel well protection and needing a more permanent solution, hi/low fan wired backwards on #1 AC, and little bumpers on bathroom counter don’t line up with pocket door. I just mention these items as a few things to look at. For example, I ran the AC, and just fan but didn’t pay attention to hi vs low.

Good luck with yours.

Sounds like you've got all your 'ducks in a row'!

You've already made your reservations for Ft Wilderness, haven't you?! Touring the loops in a golf cart is a great way to see RVer's holiday decorations.

You will be spending your first night at the dealership 'campground' won't you? Be sure you 'exercise' all of the systems while there just to be sure you know how to operate them and that they are working correctly.

Have a great time!

I wish we were at Ft. Wilderness, but that place is booked for the next 2 years! We’re staying at Lake Louisa SP.

And we will spend a night checking everything out at the dealership.

TxLoser: I will jot a note on the PDI form to test the fan speed controls for sure!
