321RSTS Dining slide won’t move.

Not yet. I got the slide in last trip and secured the motor with zip ties up in the belly for the ride home. I wanted the gearing portion still attached for the drive home. Don’t think it would move out in transit, but seemed like a good guarantee.

This week when I get home from work, I’ll pull the whole motor assembly to be sure I’m ordering the correct one online and then fix it. I found it odd there was no sign of loc-tite on these tiny little screws. Seems there would be. Either that or they just weren’t tight from the factory. Kind of a one off as I’ve never read of this issue, and I have a bit of a forum problem so I’d have read of it.

The motors are over $500 at e-trailer. I’d love to fix this one since everything works except the screws came out, but with no threading for the screws now I think I’m screwed. Pun intended.

So what was or do you have a link or what's the name of the part that was $500?

I have this motor I bought as a spare brand new never used. Don’t need anymore. Will sell for $175 plus shipping.

I may take you up on that. I’ll head to storage today, pull my motor and research if that’s a match. I can’t imagine there’s too many variations of this at 18:1.

Looks like my motor is a different pn, and 9100rpm. Thanks for the offer. I do appreciate it. That would’ve saved me a lot of money.

Sorry for the lack of follow up. I just bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered a new motor. Installed it a couple weeks back. I saved the motor portion of the previous assembly as a spare. This time, I did zip tie the motor to the to the assembly above it so as it bounced down the road, maybe less stress would be on those little screws. Probably won’t help but made me feel better.
