32RLTS Refrigerator

The residential refrigerator handle in my 32Rlts hits the glass on the pantry door when open. Any ideas of a stop?

Checked ours and it does come awful close to the pantry door. My wife keeps the travel straps around the fridge all the time, and it and the buckle restricts how far the door will open. I know, very low tech but it seems to work

the new style Whirlpool that came with my 2022 doesn't hit...the stops work...the older style...see video below for fix.

Our Whirlpool side by side has a latch under the handles that is pretty solid. In 2 years of use it has never come unlatched during travel.

The fridge side door will also hit the pantry door on mine if it is opened wide enough which we just don't do. Generally I open it and hold on to the handle and grab what I need with my left hand. If I need both hands I just open it enough to get what I need. If I need to use both hands the door stays wherever I open it to. The door opens wide enough that I don't think I've ever hit the pantry. Getting the trays out might require opening it as wide as possible but unless it is slammed against the pantry I don't think anything bad could happen.
