336fbok

My wife and I are thinking about buying a Eagle 336fbok. Is there anyone in this form that has one and have you had any trouble or problems with it?

Had one parked across the road from me when I got back to my trailer Sunday afternoon, I go up on Sunday for work and come home usually on Friday.
No one was home though so I couldn't ask any questions. Brand spanking new 2018, I could tell by the color.

When I was loading up to leave for home for Thanksgiving Wednesday afternoon it showed up again and I got to talk to the guy. Turns out he stays there on weekends and then pulls it to places for work during the week, pretty much the opposite of what I do.

He wasn't very happy. Said his ac went out when it was real hot, dealer said bring it in, he said he wasn't bringing it all the way to St. Louis right then. After arguing they sent a mobile tech out and he put a new circuit board in. Then it got cold and his furnace didn't work, mobile tech had to come out again.

Also said he had 4 water leaks in different areas of the plumbing. Didn't say if he fixed them himself or they came out again. I had leaks in the new jayco I used to have also, bathroom trap, kitchen trap, bathroom sink supply, and kitchen sink supply and fixed them all myself.

He was pulling it with a 2012 2500hd crew cab Silverado diesel, said it pulled fine. Said the dealer made him promise he was only pulling it home to get him to let him leave with it because he was over on specs, he said his truck manual only allowed for him to pull 13,000 pounds. I thought that was odd since my 2015 says 17,100. Payload is the problem anyway.

He also had the stack vented washer dryer in the front bathroom. The back end of his truck wasn't sitting low and he didn't mention having made any mods to it.

The new color doesn't impress me as much in person as the old one. It looked more like a dull gray. I guess I'd need to see it in full sunlight since I only saw it on a dreary day and then in the dark the second time. I think I like the old tan color better. The new color in person doesn't look anything like what I'm seeing on the internet in videos and pictures.

I'll also add that my wife's yearning for the 336fbok has diminished somewhat and she's now in love with the North Point 337rlbh.

I told her I'd really need to get a $63,000 dually to pull that. She said she wouldn't mind having a dually.

So I went out and bought extra powerball and megamillions tickets...

My wife and I have one that we bought in May. We love it. The only problem we had was that they didn't tell us that there are two black water tanks. One for the front bathroom and one for the back one. Found out after the tank on the front bathroom was full. Other than that we love it. BTW I pull it with a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD without any trouble.

Since I made my post on my Jayco 336fbok I thought about some of the problems we did have. We did have a problem with a leak in the kitchen sink got it fixed, the shower wasn't draining real well so we took it to a Jayco dealer and got that fixed. It works great now and the closet had a flimsy thing holding the clothes rod. All our clothes fell down on our first trip. No problem. We got some braces at Ace hardware and now it's fixed. That's about it. So far.
