Question 347BHOK - where does dryer vent go?!

2020 Jayco Eagle 5th Wheel, 347BHOK.
We want to install the Splendide combo in the prepped closet. All the paperwork says there should be a label showing where the vent goes ibut we can’t find it. Anyone know where that 4 inch hole should go? I called Jayco customer service and put in a ticket....but nothing yet.

I watched a video for SOB and am about to purchase a 2019 347BHOK....it looks like the vent would have to bore through and out the sidewall. Let me know what Jayco says

Agreed

Yes, definitely through the sidewall but we would like to know if there are studs, wires etc.

On a side note, we absolutely love our new 347BHOK. You won’t regret purchasing this one.

Good luck getting Jayco to let you know where exactly to put it. I posted a thread about my installation of the stackable Splendide in our 2020 336FBOK. Some have gotten excellent hello when contacting them, I basically got an answer that it goes where the sticker shows it, but if I do it it'll good my warranty on that entire wall. If you are still having cool mornings where you are, if you go out early and look at the side of the camper that the dryer will be on you may see an outline of each of the studs in that area, I'll post a pic of mine so you can see what I mean. Still confirm with a stud finder before you drop. Good luck, very satisfying install when all done.

If you carefully measure on the outside of the RV, then go to inside and double check all measurements again.
On the inside mark the hole for the vent, then drill small like 1/8” holes near the edge of the vent hole you marked. Only go thru the plywood.

Then get the hole saw and drill the hole.

Yep, for what have being already said, I went through this about a week ago, I did a lot of research and email Jayco for a diagram and they did send me one so I went out and drill the hole in the side of my new fiver.

Does the label in the first photo show placement for the hole? Can you give us a measurement from cabinet floor to center of hole and back wall to center of hole (horizontal and vertical line) We have never heard back from Jayco and there is no label.

Thanks so much!

Yes I can but it will just be a few days before I can go out to my fiver to measure. It that a few days before Jayco to reply, it was about three days or so before they got back with me.

Now since your is a different model from mines it might not match up as the same as mine but I will still measure it.

Okay Lizzie, your is close to the setup I have the bedroom and the bathroom is really the same so yeah I will go out and do that.

It should give a good idea on where to put the hole. I believe your bedroom looking up your model is the same. I will be going out next to install my washer and dryer this week.

Agreed, your Rv master bedroom and closet looks identical to ours so I think it will be the same. Thanks again for all the helpful information.

You are more than welcome. So how long will it before that you want to get this done, do you have a time frame?

Awesome, and tell your husband that I said thank him for his service, I did twenty-eight years and love it. I will see if I can go out sometime tomorrow and check for you and I will get back with you tomorrow.
