Has anyone slid the whirlpool residential refrig out to replace the water line from the cutoff to the refrig?
If so, can you use the stainless steel braided line to replace the old line?

On my unit...I can see the water line and where it runs from the back of the frig through to the side cabinet from the outside access door. So not sure what you are trying to do?

I do not have an access door to see the water line The water line ruptured therefore I cant use the ice maker until I replace the waterline from the cutoff to the refrig.
I can see the line if I take the drawer out under the stove.

People have talked about getting them serviced, so they built a raised platform in front of the slide to roll it out on. Some also had to remove the doors to clear the island on some models. As to replacing the line, there would be no reason why you can't use the SS lines since the fittings would match.

agreed, doors may need to come off to have room to het behind it and install the new line.

Also may need to do a buildup to get it slid out.

Thanks

Not sure what year your 355 is but I have a 2023 and you can get to the water line from the backside of the fridge through the access door or by removing the drawer under the stove. There is a cutoff there and it is a standard screw fitting.

On the cut off is behind bottom drawer left of the stove. There is no access door on line other than that. It’s a 2019

In the 2020 or 2021 model year Jayco made it nice in units with a residential fridge by putting the access door outside to get to the backside of the fridge. If you have a model year prior to that we have to pull the fridge out to access behind the fridge. Sucks!
