355mbqs

Hey everyone,
Can anyone tell me if a Jayco Eagle 355mbsq (2017) is prepped for a stackable washer and dryer, or only a combo unit. We are ready to pull the trigger on this unit, but unfortunately, the closest one is 200 miles away so we might be purchasing site unseen (which is terrifying for me).

Thanks in advance.

200 miles isnt bad, go and throughly check it out. I made 4 trips to a dealer 3 hours from me to check out the Eagles and to order one.

Most of the Eagles are combo units.

I have a combo in mine. Don't know if you could fit a stack in it without modifying and losing most of your cabinet storage.
I purchased mine unseen, but knew exactly what I was getting into and a dealer who would have just floored the order if it didn't meet my expectations.

200 miles isn't much of a drive for a purchase of that magnitude. I'd go look at it.

fwiw, I love the floorplan

I just pulled up the floor plan for that model. It has the standard Eagle bedroom, so it would be a combo prep.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like we're going to have to sacrifice the stackable. I thought that might be the case from looking at pictures and videos, was just hoping my eyes were deceiving me 😀

I have a 2016 and was just at a show and walked through a 2017. Definitely not room for a stackable.
That said, I love the RV. Best floorplan for a bunkhouse going as far as we are concerned. We had a TT with the rear bunkroom and that was mostly wasted space. The kids wanted to be out with us in the living area, not stuck in the bunkroom, and that living area only had a loveseat.
The 355MBQS seats 5 comfortably in the huge rear living, but still has bunks and a room to keep the kiddos happy. Love it!!

Can any 355 owner tell me how wide the slide in the bunkroom is? I am trying to figure out if our crib will fit in the slide. Thanks in advance.

On my 2016 is is right at 50 inches.
The 2017 design changed. Not sure if the width is the same or not.

My 2017 is being built tomorrow and I will hopefully have it next week. If I don't see an update on the thread I will measure and post when it arrives. I don't believe the slide changed between 2016/17.

Thanks guys,

The crib is 58 inches, so it looks like we're good to go with the '17. It's crazy how much larger they made the bunkroom from 16 to 17!

They made the bunk room in the 17 have a loft, and the trailer is about 1 and 1/2 feet longer. Guess that is where the extra length is...
Bunks in the 16 run across the camper, not parallel to the length. This is actually one of the reasons we hurried to get a 2016. Both bunks are long enough for an adult.

I think one of the great things about the 355 is how many different configurations you can order it in. between the bunk room, the loft, the bedroom and the living room you can option it to sleep a ton of people.
