36 Eagle Premiere Bunk House is Always Hot During the Day

I have 36' Eagle Premiere Bunkhouse and the Living Quarters and Bunkhouse get to 85 to 90 degrees during the day down here in South Texas. Is there a kit to add a 3rd AC unit to the bunkhouse?

Not sure if you could add additional a/c since the electrical may set up for only your current requirements but you you could try to partially close the current vents in the rest of the trailer . Living in texas my self i know what your dealing with

Third AC Unit

Thank you, I tried that allready. I heard that there is a way to add a 3rd unit through the ceiling vent and then you run a separate cord to plug the unit into a separate outlet.

Yes one can add another AC unit on a electrical line of it's own. I did that on mine. Works great.

Framing for A.C.

I've noticed that ads for trailers will sometimes list "prewired and framed for second A.C." This makes me wonder if the vent opening needs reinforcing to add the weight of an air conditioner on the roof.
If it's too difficult to install a roof unit, you could use a portable room unit and vent it through a window.

Our 351 will have some problems keeping up with the heat if we're in full sun. It helps to open the "quick cool" vents on the AC units and run the ceiling fan. I also have begun closing the bath vent since discovering how much warm (and humid) air was pouring in there.
Note that I said "helps". We are able to keep it comfortable but it gets progressively warmer as the day progresses. I also think that the "mocha" color on the exterior has a great impact as well.

We had a 2011 and 2012 365 BHS and had the same problem with both units. IF you search the archives, several folks did a mod where they did something on the main AC unit that forced more air to the bunkhouse. We ended up trading for a 375 BHFS and can keep the bunkhouse on it just as cool as the rest of the unit.
Expensive fix in the grand scheme of things, but we liked the floor plan much better.

I have a 365BHS too, but here in Canada AC isn't an issue. We just got back from two weeks in the Maritimes (New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, & Nova Scotia), and we had the furnace on at night.

Perfect camping weather.
