36 KPTS issues, Help

Good afternoon,

After the first trip the following issues showed up,

Recliner broke
TV will not play though stereo
Jack extension Pin bent.

Albany RV is working on fixing these issues since Memorial Day weekend.

Now the Cord Reel will not work, Any ideas? No popped breakers or fuses, They said they will look at it when they get the other stuff in to be fix, WTF. I was told to strap the cord to the ladder if I am going to travel before they come fix it.

So I was hoping someone might be able to help me trouble shoot it.

Thank you,

I have the same Jayco Pinnacle as you. The tv also dis not work through the stereo. Jayco did not connect the tv at the factory. I removed the stereo and attached a hdmi cable to back of the stereo and fed it to the back of the tv. It now works through the stereo.

I'll assume that the cord reel does not move at all when you operate the switch. If so, the most likely culprit is the switch. You may be able to locate a switch at a local big box store or electrical supply. It will not match, but will be able to be temporarily used until the dealer can install a new switch.

Hope this helps.

We have a 2013 Pinnacle and both recliners would not recline while you were sitting in them but worked fine if there was no weight on them. I think Jayco could have done a better job of selecting furniture for their top of the line 5th wheel.

Our recliners have worked fine, are comfortable and nice furniture.
