365bhs airflow issue and slide motor
Just wondering if anyone has been able to resolve the poor airflow issues in the bunk area. How many have had slide motor problems, I am finding alot of people that have had problems, Jayco admits it was a problem and have changed the motor they are using, but will not change them until you are stranded. I think this is poor service.

Camper 10
I own a 2010 365 BHS. I have the same issue with the poor airflow in the bunk area. A major problem is the vent in the bunk room, I bought a vent pillow and this helps stop the heat from above. The real problem is the main unit in the livingroom. I took off the A/C cover and made an air deverter out of a pizza box. I took the box and inserted in the A/C cover. The box is angled towards the rear vent intake, this causes all of the air to go to the back vents. I have alot more air flow to the back room. I have to run the Front A/C to cool the front of the camper. I also put in another A/C vent in the bunkhouse. You need to call Jayco and explain your problem. I called and they said no one else has had this kind of problem. Jayco also recommended putting a fan in the livingroom and blowning the cool air into the bunkhouse. My camper is brand new, fix the problem. The bunkhouse really needs a 3rd A/C unit, because the door keeps the air from going back to the return in the livingroom. I have a year and half on my warranty and I am going to wear it out.

I replaced my three slide motors (I was stuck open in my yard with the OEM - Chinese made units). Unfortunately, I have not had the weather to test both AC units for cooling purposes. I think the air flow is sufficient; however, will not truly know until it is 90+ out.

Hey you, 365BHS guys, I am ordring a 2012 tomorrow. I can't believe the deal I got on it.
I was just wondering how long the bunks in the back are? Will they sleep adults OK?
Are you guys overall pleased with your units?
Thanks!

Gib: I've been up there (and I'm 262 lbs), but have not slept there. They are well built - but, expect issues like every other manufacturer. Who did you buy from?

I got a quote from RV Direct and, to my amazement, a dealer here in southern Ontario almost matched it. I got just under 30% off the list price. The Canadian dollar is higher than the US dollar right now, so that helps.

we are very happy with the unit, i have had several adults sleep in the rear bunk area. one new thing is that the top bunk folds up so you can sit on the bottom bunk. of course they did this right after mine was built. we just bought a washer/dryer unit we will be installing soon. Our only complaint is rear airflow...But remember this unit is 40Ft. 2 bathrooms with 2 kids what more can i say.. any questions just ask

airflow update
I tried to divert enough airflow to the rear bunk as sugested by taylorj. This is our first test of the fix. We are at myrtle beach for 9 days it has been about 82 the rest of the camper is great but the bunk house is still not cool enough. we also use vent pillows. Next option I Guess. My kids are too little to complain right now.

Do you have two air conditioners in your unit?

Camper 10
You need to contact Jayco and explain the problem with the airflow. When I contacted them, Jayco said I was the only one with this problem. What mods have you made?
