36KPTS seating

I was asking Jayco about getting a full sofa in the rear of the 36KPTS but they tell me it's because of an outlet when the end table goes. I assume that's the one between the two recliners.

Can someone check that area out and post where its at and maybe even include a picture. If it's on the floor I can understand but if it's on the wall I don't see what it would be a problem.

I guess even if Jayco won't sell one I could order one from the sofa Manufacture.

There are actually two 110 outlets on the back wall which would become virtually useless if you put a couch in.

We don't have a problem at all with the 2 recliners in the back. The table is very functional for putting a lamp on and over Xmas our table top decorated tree.

Watching TV from the back not a problem...we just turn it.

We've considered moving the sofa to the rear and the recliners to the side, but there's not enough room to close the slides with the sofa in the rear. (at least the way I measure it) I have heard of some folks who flip the sofa on its back to gain the necessary clearance, that's more trouble than we want to go to every time we move.

Thanks,

Other than figuring what to do for sleeping an additional 2 people putting an office workspace in the rear would be nice. 8+ feet would allow for two people easily. One could then put the recliners in the slide or in our case a recliner and a glider rocker which my DW loves use.

That explains the 4" difference in the length between the KPTS and RSQS as it's in the rear sofa area.

So how far is it from the slide trip to the very back?

Here are a few pics showing why we are OK with the rear recliners;

And when the weather is not the best and you have to be inside we can just rotate the chairs to take advantage of the view.

Timon,
Sorry, couldn't get out there Friday. Checked today and the measurement is 33" from the facing on the slide to the back wall. The brackets on the curtains come out 3" from the wall, so the useable space taking the brackets into account is 30". That's what my measurement showed anyway.

Basically a nice desk area we can use.

The only issue would be having a place for the two grandkids to sleep. However finding a place for them and the two dogs to ride in the truck is a more major issue.

How old are the grandkids? How often will they be travelling with you?

What kind of dogs and how big?
