377 Jack Location

Just wondering where the best spot is to jack up from on the 377RLBH?

Going to take the wheels off, check brakes, grease bearings. oh.. what grease are you all using?

Thank you!

On the frame...use bottle jack and wood for cribbing.

I place the jack under the u-bolts to remove a tire.

There’s a chart on the dexter website that lists compatible greases. Not sure if lippert has the same for their axles.

Dan’s way is the “preferred “ method but I know lots of people that do as I do

Sorry we can't help out with your propane issue...I'd help out if I was closer.

I jack at the u-bolts as well. Just don’t jack in the center of the axle tube.

ahh, here we go.. right from the Dexter owners manual:

"Grease
Use a high temperature, automotive type wheel bearing grease
produced by a reputable manufacturer. The soap type should be lithium
complex or equivalent. Use NLGI Grade 2 product
with a minimum dropping point of 440 F."
