377 PDI completed!

Did a 5hr PDI on my new 377 today. I'm buying the rig through Fretz RV in Souderton, PA, and they've been fantastic to work with. They also beat GoodSam's lowest financing rate. One of their service techs, Ron, gave me a thorough walk through and left me alone to do my inspection at my own pace.

She was lovely, inside and out, but I set emotion aside to do a thorough inspection.

Happily, I found very few issues, all planned to be fixed before I pick her up this Saturday:

Frozen locks on outside kitchen and generator door, full of road salt. My rig was built end of December, looks like it was delivered right after a snow storm with salt residue all over the undercarriage. I'll blast her clean with my power washer.

The vertical walls in the master bedroom closet apparently are a bit out of plumb because the lower hanging rod falls short from its hook on the wall. A shim behind the hook will have to suffice. The walls appear plumb otherwise.

Roller shade in the hallway stuck down when pulling on it.

And that's it, so far. 2 day shakedown this weekend to see if anything else surfaces.

The tech says the following "issues" are normal, can y'all confirm? A few bubbles/wrinkles on the roof, but no loose Dicor or holes. The wheel wheel skirts don't sit flush when slides are closed.

She's a beauty! As for the roof wrinkles, I had a few, but not quit as big as yours. I think you'll be ok, just keep an eye on them periodically while under warranty. The fender skirts don't sit flush and don't line up perfectly!

Looks great!!! Those are all typical issues for any trailer. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Get out there and break her in.

Sweet rig. Is that a wrinkle in the rubber roof or an indentation into the roof and plywood? It almost looks like there was an impact there, denting the roof. But could be the angle.

Check the seal where the roof meets the front cap. Mine was fine until we pulled it and had really freezing weather and it opened up a couple of little spots. I got up there and filled them in with dicor. Also, we have an issue with our fireplace where it doesn't want to run when it is cold. Jayco has a new one on the way to us. Other than that, it has just been a few little cosmetic issues.

They are pretty trailers. We love ours, the fender skirts don’t line up flush when closed. There will little stuff but overall it’s a great trailer

No slit, I checked that twice, gave the roof a thorough look over crawling on my hands and knees, and inspected all the edges, too. Just protruding wrinkles in spots, no divots, cuts, slits or holes.

Monty: I thoroughly checked that seam, too, saw a YouTube video where someone's Pinnacle developed a big leak there because the screws pulled loose, will keep an eye on it.

Indeed I was. Cold and windy day, spent a lot of time crawling around and putting hands on stuff, was surprised how tuckered out I was at the end of the day.

Furnace was working nicely, as well as the heating element in the fireplace, and the heated lounger was calling my name while I checked to make sure the TV remote was working properly.

To me, the slideout could probably be retracted a bit more, maybe a 1/4" more or so, that would close up the gap between the wall and slide out and line up the skirt a bit better.

On my trailer the slideout is within 1/8" of the horizonal trim piece I see in your picture.

But that's really splitting hairs or course.

In your fourth pic it looks like the front cargo space is smaller. The door is not as big as the one on my 2017. Can they still fit a generator in there?

Correct, the gen door height is shorter, and they eliminated the shelf that would have extended across the top of the generator, now it is just open space up there inside, with a shelf still on top of the side where the batteries are. Generator can still fit in there.

Nice camper!
We brought our 377 home two weeks ago and also had a great PDI and walk through. It is nice when the dealer just lets you “wander” around and in your new rig to find things that might be an issue. We, like you, only had a couple things that are now fixed. Our fender skirts don’t match either. The drivers side is worse than the curb side. We have it just about loaded with the stuff from our old camper and waiting for the season to start.
We have started some mods we got from here and are “thinning out” the stuff we carried and never used. It is amazing how much junk we accumulated

Ours was fine also. It wasn't until after I pulled it to this location and we had about a week of single-digit temperatures that the leak developed. The sealant must have shrank and opened up. I have no idea why this forum put the picture upside down, but you get the gist of it.

agreed, I didn't have the roof issues on my 377 but the fenders don't line up. I also check that the slide seals look tight and that's as far in as it will go. So far, no leaks.
