One MORE dumb question.... (Cant say that it will likely be my last!)

Is there a tank overflow when filling the tank? If so, I can't seem to find it. How do you know that your tank is full. With my old unit, I could see the side of the tank in the compartment, plus since it was a gravity fill, it "spit back" once full.

Just don't want to do any overfill damage......

Mine has several tubes right over the axles, one is about 1- 1/2 in and is flat. That is where water comes out when it is full if I remember correctly at least one of them, I have never filled it to overflow but once.

Read a number of threads of water coming out of full fresh tanks on the road and fixes for it if you need a full tank for camping.

Thank you, Gentlemen! Tank about ⅓ full of fresh water. Just siphoned in a gallon of bleach, and now continuing to fill with fresh water. I'll circulate the bleach solution throughout the system once the tank is full, then let it sit for a bit. Then a few clean water flushes, and I should be good to go! It'll be good time to test water heater, as well!

Like Norty said once you hit the overflow the tank will continue to siphon.. Some more than others depending on how far into the tank the over flow tube is.
If I don't catch mine on the first drip, it will siphon for about 15 minutes.

Once it overflowed, I opened the drain until the "flat" overfill stopped flowing. At that point, I checked the tank level gauge (yes, I realize how undependable they are!), and it still said "full", so I've added that to the list of things that I need to wrap into my learning curve.

All the other flushing, sanitizing, and de-winterizing went extremely well! Everything is flushed, except the tank (currently draining for a refill), I tested the propane stove, oven, water heater, and fridge. Fridge still on LP to ensure that it chills down...

I've been a bit apprehensive, because when I took delivery, it was in freezing temps, and everything had already been winterized, so I'm just now seeing it all work for the first time!

You should take down the wall of the storage compartment near the water uni-dock to check for any dripping connections.
I have heard of a lot on here. I had one.
Then after I de-wintertized a few weeks a go I had a cracked elbow from antifreeze not getting there. Didn't know until the valves were set a certain way and water started coming out the bottom.

A small drip from a loose connection you wouldn't see for along time. It's worth the trouble of removing the wall.
You will see a lot of interesting things back there too.

Gotta open it up to install the filter in the cartridge once I'm done, so I'll check the fittings then! Thank you for the suggestion!
