38 FLSA Water Filter

Hey y’all
In May We bought a 2016 Jayco Pinnacle 38 FLSA and I have a water filter question. Where’s the dang thing located? Ha!
I put one outside directly inline with the faucet water supply but have since found two replacement water filters and got to wondering if there was one located somewhere unseen in our camper? I’ve checked under the sinks and am dreading crawling into the basement area and removing panels. I’m sure that’s just what I’ll have to do though. Ha! All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Should be a panel in the basement pass through right behind the utility center.

My 2011 rig did not come with a whole house filter. It did have a smaller inline filter for the kitchen faucet supply only. It was under the sink mounted over the right side door. It also came with a small section of hose to by pass the filter. It is still in place after all these years, I removed the cartridge and never replaced it.
We mounted a whole house filter in the storage compartment.

Thank you. I did find the one under the kitchen sink and I’ll look at that one. So the previous owners called me and said the water filter was for only if used the water tank not city water. Is that correct?

Not usually. Our 2015 38 FLSA had a filter for all water coming into the FW so it filtered it before it went into the tank or if on city water. That's why it was behind the utility panel.

I have no explanation for why it was only filtering the kitchen sink water but the filter they used cost 5 times the whole house filter that we installed. That was the main reason we added the whole house filter.

On my rig, this was before they had a separate reservoir for drinking water.
