4 point electric leveling jacks

Hello everyone! We just ordered a 2013 eagle premier 351mkts, we ordered the electric leveling system hoping for ease of setup & stability. Also contacted the factory to get electric stabilizers added to the rear, as they are deleated w/leveling system. does anyone have this leveling system & how do you like it? (And yes I know backing on blocks isn't difficult, but I aint gettin' any younger either).

We have it on our 2012 Pinnacle and it's great. The first time we backed into a camp site my wife gave me the motion as to say (we are in a good spot how are we for level) and I told her it didn't matter because we had the self leveling system, she smiled and gave me a thumbs up. We have been on the road for 5 months this summer and love this system, no more block's to carry around in the truck. Unhook then push a buttom and watch it do it's thing. I have not had any problems. You like it so much you look forward to the next time you have to use it. Even if we are in a Walmart parking lot overnight, with our other traler we would just put down the front jacks now we unhook and level off so it never matters how much of a slope you are on the trailer is level. We were set up in one spot the wheels on one side of the trailer were completely off the ground.

That is great, the new leveling systems are nice.
The leveling system was not available on our 2011 Pinnacle so we are looking at intalling the Reico Titan 4 Point leveling system this fall.
Since we fulltime and move around quite a bit it sure would be nice not having to deal with blocks and such evertime we setup.

That is one strong lady ! Maybe she's just holding the ground down, like we used to do with push-ups in the Army.

Thanks for the input. Pretty bad the dealer couldn't answer my questions on the jacks. They claimed they were too new & didn't know about them. :-(

I am looking into adding the Level Up system on our Eagle. It's made by Lippert Components and is a 6-point leveling system to help the frame from flexing. Now to find a dealer to sell it to me and let ME install it.

I agree. The best install is by yourself. The only time someone else touches our stuff is under warranty. (and then I have to re-do some of it when we get home :-()

Maybe you could pop over to Indiana and have them install it at the Lippert shop.

Had the Reico Titan system installed on our 31.5 RLTS a few months ago and it is by far the best mod we have done to this trailer yet. You will love you leveling system.

I recieved a response from Lippert:

To: Ecommerce User
Subject: Level-up System

I am intrested in the Level-up system for my 2012 Jayco 351 RLTS fith wheel camper. I've called the Illinois dealer and couldn't get a firm answer on the cost for this. I would like to install this myself this winter. I've seen other 4 point leveling systems, but would rather have your 6 point system for the stability.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks,

Mike

Subject: FW: Level-up System

Mike,

The hydraulic 6 point level up system would have to be installed by a certified installer.

To have that system installed here in Goshen, IN it would be $4812.50 out the door.

If you would like to schedule an appointment here, please email or call me.

For pricing at another certified location, you would need to contact that dealer for pricing.

Thanks for your speedy reply. Do you happen to know how long it takes?

Mike

About 8 hours here. I make the appointments for 7am and you would have your coach back by 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

So much for doing it myself. Looks like a trip to Indiana is in the next couple of months.

The list price is $3000 but this is the best price I found on it anywhere on the internet.

http://www.dyersonline.com/rieco-tit...ng-system.html

But after you add $117.00 freight the $2400 I paid locally came in a bit cheaper.

Their company is about an hour away from me.After reading the installation sheet it doesn't sound like this is an auto self leveling system. I really want to just push a button and whala, done... Yep, I'm getting lazy!!!

Correct, it is not automatic. But, there are advantages to having the manual system, one of which is the ability to raise one side or the other off the ground WHILE HOOKED UP on the side of the road to change a flat or what ever is needed. One of the other advantages is the redundancy built into the system if the wireless remote looses battery power, is lost, damaged or what have you. Another advantage is the ability to raise or lower the pin from the cab of the TV while hooking up. It is my understanding that the automatic systems feature of remembering the hitch height of the pin is not always accurate.

There is an automatic version of the electric system but I chose to use the manual for the above reasons. The manual system sets up almost as fast as the automatic electric system and gives you full control.

You should call tweetys.com, they will beat any price you find. I think they actually own this forum, so we should try to support them and way we can...........

Well, have had the fiver for two weeks now. Completely happy with the leveling system & very happy to have added the rear elect stabilizers. Very solid when parked. Can't even feel folks walking about.
