JeanBean, yes, hubby had to re-drill the bracket holes, but the 42 inch fit in our 28.5RSTS perfectly

Our Redhawk 25R came with a 55 Insignia. I installed another insignia in the bedroom. We like them. Quality at a fair price and sound quality is good. I like Visio also. Both have come a long way since they debuted years ago!

Make a small notch in front of the remote sensor so it can see the remote.

Yup! Little clearance, and had to move bracket, but it fits. Our 28.5RSTS has been our home for over 3 years now. TV is very important.

Our 38 Furrion TV identified as a Toshiba when we set up our Amazon Firestick with it. Ive been happy with the TV so far. Sound comes through the auxiliary port on the Furrion sound system and sounds marginal at best. Furrion does have a subwoofer to match up with the system and Im thinking that might be a nice addition. Replacing the speakers in the ceiling might also make a big difference, too. Thoughts?

* If you decide to change out the whole TV, keep in mind that smart TV's don't typically come with a TV tuner card, so hooking an antenna up won't do anything. If you don't want free OTA TV don't worry about it. Otherwise get one with a TV tuner build in.

* A new TV will also require manipulating the TV mount it's attached to. I'd measure the spot where it's at to make sure it'll fit.

Side note: Our TV came with a tapered back so when you pushed it back in, it snugged up nicely. The replacement TV didn't have that, so it doesn't fit flush like the last one.

Good Luck
Smart TV''s do have the tuner, that is why they are called TV's. A monitor does not, but, you can add an external one for that. As for our rig, we got rid of the 50" Furion, and installed a 4K Smart TV from Inspiron. It has 4k, Fire TV, and yes, it can tune regular TV, although we don't use that part much.
