Sorry for the late reply...been building habitat homes. Anyhow, just now taking it to a local repair shop tomorrow. Shop owner said it will take at least 30 days to get to it and repair (If needed).

Got to love them habitat homes. All built for single moms with multiple kids with all different last names. A few buddies did that until they figured out what was moving in to them. Keep spitting em out and let us pay for em. Not all but most

WOW! This has been on my list to figure out why mine was doing this too.. Since I didn't have the words to describe it, I have just postponed jumping into it. I try to avoid all dealers at all costs . Frame flex.. Thanks for posting this, OP.

On that note, it seems like the (common) solution is to replace the screws. Not having my 5er near, I seem to remember there was a "panel" on the covering underside of the RV around the hitch. Should that be removed, and then there are screws (not visible otherwise) that should be replaced with longer ones? OR, are the screws visible from the outside the ones that should be replaced? I seem to remember they were not very long to begin with.

Thanks!

Well guys, I just wrote up a long reply to my issue and the forum erased it and I'm having problems logging in. Tired of this forum anyhow. My last post. Rv mechanic put 13-4" screws in each side in order to fix problem. He said Jayco never put fasteners in. Ba, bye
