5th Wheel GVWR

Has anyone done any after market modifications on their trailer frame to increase the GVWR? The generator that is in ours is taking up nearly ⅓ of our cargo carrying capacity, and we don't want to get rid of the generator.

Don't know how you would begin that could end in verifiable, certifiable capability improvements. You could address obvious areas in the suspension, axles-springs-tires, but what about the frame itself?
