Curious if you’ve had any issues with the bed depth being deeper... specifically with clearance between the bed rails and the overhang on the 5er? Haven’t been able to get my hitch installed yet so don’t know if it will be an issue. Can your hitch be adjusted higher? Don’t believe mine can!
Don't forget that you can adjust the pin box height, which may accommodate the taller box side height using a hitch that cannot be raised.. The other factor is the overall bedrail height above ground and the underside of the 5th wheel overhang matching up with proper clearance and the 5'er riding close to level instead of very nose high.

It is a deep bed. I’ve got mine moved all the way up.

I have a DEMCO Hijacker auto slide. Gives me an extra 14 inches for 90° turns. Hopefully, you're a strong youngman because these hitches are solid & heavy! I'm an old fart, but if I were in the market for a new hitch, I'd investigate the 37# Anderson.

I had the B&W non-slider but I sold it to get something a little lighter, my setup is in the signature. This is my setup with the PullRite Superlite 1P hitch that I just love.

Here are a few pics on my setup with the same 5th wheel as you order, my bed is 6.5 so you should have no problem.

Now these are on a gravel storage lot this is about a 88% degree turning radius but since I mostly go to semi-level RV parks and Resort I don't have to worry about hitting my cab and if I need to back up a little tighter on those situation I will pull out and come at it at a different angle.

I looked at the different setups and went with a Reese sidewinder. It uses a wedge behind the kingpin. Pivot point is the pinbox and gives you an extra 22 inches of clearance. Never have a problem. My friend called me a show off when we were traveling together and I did circles around his truck and trailer! Lol

2020 2500 hd

Hi, We just went from a 2006 HD to a 2020 HD, This truck is a beast ,longer ,wider ,bed deeper. That being said it's been alot of adjustments. We have a Jayco Eagle SuperLite. We have a PullRite SuperGlide and love it. I have only had trouble on a RV site once out of about 100 times being very unlevel. On another note Going to new truck adjustments I had to lower kingpin(raise RV) a few notches to get my tailgate to RV Clearance. At 1st it was high in the front and low on the back of RV. I went up 1 hole (1 1/2'')up front and gained 7'' on the rear of RV and was happy. Sorry to ramble but it if helps you in anyway . Biggest thing with SuperGlide is the weight of hitch if you need truck bed ,it is very heavy to take in and out. I have used RV to lift hitch out of truck before. My truck does not have puck system, I went with Pullrite drill less frame kit. I had to slide hitch to back of where it was on old truck with adjustment holes .

[QUOTE=WV Camper;916876]We just ordered a 2021 Eagle 321RSTS. We will be towing with a 2020 Chevrolet 3500 SRW standard bed 4 x 4 diesel with the factory installed puck system.

I have the same 2019 trailer and tow with a Demco Auto Slide in SB Ram 2500.. Never an issue w/ 90 degree turns with the Demco.. Make sure to do your research with the Anderson Hitch.. Some Trailer Frame manufactures will void the trailer frame warranty when towing with an Anderson hitch.. Apparently the Anderson is considered a gooseneck hitch system and it causes signifiant stresses on various points of the frame.. Anderson has it's own warrant that many say will supersede the factory frame warranty, however it's more of a sales pitch than a real warranty, I for one would never want to try to cash in on it. The other thing to consider with the Anderson, when you place the hitch in the rearward position, you are placing the hitch weight of the trailer behind (not centered) the rear axle. This offset actually increased the bed weight load due to physics of leverage. I did the math in my situation and actually ended up with 45 lbs more bed weight using my 225 lb. Demco vs the 60 lb Anderson. If you keep the Anderson centered over the axle then you maintain your actual bed weight but you lose turning radios clearance with your cab... Myself,, if i were to buy a new 5th wheel hitch today, i would go with the B&W. Reasonably priced, Less weight, load centered over rear axle and you can manually offset when you need to turn in sharp conditions.

I also have the DEMCO auto slider for pulling my 5th wheel. I like it over the pullrite where you have to attach a capture plate to the pin in order for it to work. The Demco does not need a capture plate. I definitely recommend it for an auto-slider though it is heavier than non-sliders.

I recommend B&W non slider, as long as you are no where close to pin weight max for truck.

As a point of reference for you, our 2020 321RSTS weighed in at 2460 on the pin for a two week trip this past summer. Full propane, tanks empty. Unless you full time and have the washer/dryer and really load up, you'll be fine.

As is apparent from all the posts you have numerous options. I have a 2019 GMC 3500 with factory puck system. I went with the Pullrite Superglude to tow our Pinnacle 32RLTS. Very happy with towing and ride quality. Good luck with your selection.

A lot of options and its like asking about what truck etc. We all have favorites lol. I pull with a Superglide with both trucks in my sig. The newer truck has the puck system so I went with the newer Superglide. I have hitched up at probably 10 deg off center no problem and on uneven ground. When I pull up to our house and unhitch there is 4" difference in level side to side. The trick on a Superglide is have your wheels chucked and the pinbox a little lower than the hitch so as you back into it the fiver is being raised onto the hitch. You want it to engage on the angle of the plate. Never a problem when I've used this method. Other thing I love about it is the definite "Click" you hear when the hitch pin is captured.
Like matt said "best of luck" in your search.

Thanks for your reply... sounds like I (might) need to have some adjustments done to 1) the Pin Box height to accommodate the deeper bed and 2) possibly the rear shackles
on the 5er for leveling purposes when pulling. As of now, I'm unable to re-install the Husky hitch on my new truck until Husky can supply my dealer with new 'under the bed' brackets for the hitch (don't have puck system) - seems GM redesigned the area under the bed as my old brackets will no longer fit. So until then, I won't really know if I have a clearance issue. Only other option is to get a different hitch... but gonna wait to see if Husky comes through. Thanks again!

Mike88... Thx! Does this hitch use a ‘ball type’ connection and will it sit higher? And is the cost about the same? If it’s a normal hitch, I assume the height is adjustable?!? Either way, did you also have to adjust the shackles higher on the 5er?
Yep... luv my pickup!
