AC fan speeds

It appears the 2 Coleman AC units on our 341LRQS Eagle operate only on high speed whether on AC or fan only- All our previous RVs have operated on both speeds- Periodically, we have had an AC unit freeze up on low speed Cool so we rarely used low speed on Cool but frequently ran the fans on low fan- We bought this unit used so we need your input to determine if we need a tech to check it out or just use high speed at all times- THANX in advance for all input- DD

Check the wiring. The high / low are separate wires running from the thermostat to the A/C unit(s). It's *possible* that they sacrificed the low speed wire to use it for another function, such as a heat strip in the A/C. If your thermostat has an elec. heat option, or you know that your A/C has a heat strip, then this would be the wire they used. Then again, I have heat strips on my mind for some reason.
