Adjusting NP 377 kitchen slide

Looking for tips and techniques on adjusting my dinette side slide up or down. It appears there is too much clearance at the top. Need to raise it. I see "how" to raise it using the adjusting bolts but I am looking for help on how to "properly" adjust it. Thanks

When the slide comes in it raises up...if you raise it too much then it will stick against the top.
Mine was doing this and when I would put it out, it would take the upper wall with it until the wall POPPED loose. It wasn’t good.
Dealer lowered it as low as it goes. All good now.
Why do you think there is too much clearance?

Klassic, this all stems from the recent suspension recall. I went to check my springs and noticed some minor rubbing marks on the underside of the dinette slide. While still closed, I measured about 3" clearance between the tires and underside of slide. I then opened the slide halfway and saw that the slide was lower in the back. So I decided I need to raise the back of the slide. Thus my post. Not sure if 3" is correct clearance. Maybe recall will fix possible weak springs.
