Advice on Jayco 317 RLOK

We are intending on upgrading from our Jayfeather 27BH to a 5th wheel. The new Jayco 317RLOK has caught our eyes. Anyone have input about this move? Will my Chevy Silverado 2500 HD haul and handle this with no problems? How do I deal with the salespeople on their prices? The sticker price is $ 98,290 with a discount of - $24,888. Bringing it to $ 73,402. Please advise me if I should be posting in another thread. Any help is appreciated

Maybe. Of course it depends on your truck's capacity and what's loaded into the 5er. Add a washer/dryer, a generator, 5th wheel hitch, and your pin weight may be too much. The newer 2500's may be adequate-

Don't be afraid to haggle with the dealer! Worst thing that can happen is they say "No". Be sure it's a local dealer and they have a good service department as you'll likely be visiting them over the next 2 years for warranty issues.

We have a 2018 317Rlok, love it! Easy pull with a F-250 Super Duty, get about 11 to 12 mpg, depending on speed and terrain. Only drawback on ours is the outside kitchen burner, not worth a nickel, used it once since we bought it. We will keep it until we decide to upgrade to a Class-A.
Enjoy the unit, it has served us well and I hope you will find it the perfect setup!

We have had a 317 RLOK for going on 5 years and are very happy with it.
Had the normal trips back to the dealer for repairs, but nothing serious.
Best floor plan for us when we were looking. We spend two months in it every summer and many misc. trips in between. Would definitely buy one again.

My in-laws have a 2017 RLOK and love it. It was purchased from Burton Campers in AL. Great experience all around. They tow with a F 250 power stroke with no issues, though I donít know the specific configuration.

One thing they wish they could have done differently was to have the dual door RV fridge versus the residential. The first residential fridge had to be replaced already. Said it was a pain. Not sure how well these fridges will do long term bouncing down the road.

As far as pricing, it was pre COVID, so it was roughly 30% of msrp and the base price was not close to what they are listing for now. I would push for as much as possible. I know things have gone up, but my goodness that seems extreme.
