Air Conditioner & Screaching sounds

I have a 2005 Jaco Designer 31 ft. The blower motor in roof top air conditioner in the main living area has begun to intermittently make screeching sounds. Should I assume it's a bearing in the blower motor? What should I be looking for, or be aware of when looking for a repair person? Thanks

If it were me, I would climb on the roof with a flashlight and look under the shroud and check out the fan. It could be possible you have some trash that has gotten in there.

Most RV shops can fix those if it is the motor. You might also find that your home ac company will do it as well. You might want to compare the cost of just have it replaced vs repaired. Tough call when it is only 6 or 7 years old.

Just turn on the fan and see if the noise is there. There might be two little holes in that blower motor for some oil. Just three or four drops of oil should do the trick.
