am I missing a slide topper

I feel bad about bothering everyone but all members on this forum are so helpful and I just got my new camper and I am so excited and full of questions and etc etc etc. My Pinnacle 38FLWS was supposed to have come with slide awnings and I notice that there is only awnings on 5 of the 6 slides which agrees with the build sheet for this unit. The middle slide on the personnel door side of the unit does not have an awning. What is the logic behind this? Is it because it is under the main awning? Should I pursue getting an awning for this slide? I can see where the mounting hardware is attached to the side of the unit but no awning. In addition, I will not always have the main awning out every time I have the slides out. What is the group consensus? Should I get the awning for the slide?

If you're talking about the slide with your table and chairs in it, I can kinda see why they didnt put on on it. Like you said, they must figure its covered by the main awning.
IMO, I'd have one put on it. Reason being, storm rolls in, what do you do? Pull in the main awning. Now your slide is out there with no awning over it, unlike the others.

The only way to have that one installed is for the brackets to be put on upside down. That is why the factory doesn't do it. We had one installed on our 2015 and it works, but the topper will rub the top of the slide out frame when extended, it doesn't cause any problems though.

We were told by JAYCO rep, that our kitchen slide out doesn't have slide
awning as it is covered by the larger awning, and if slide out had an awning, would rub against the larger awning...we have the 383FKWS.

That's why the bracket had to be installed up-side down. JAYCO told the dealer how to do it.
