Convinced Jayco's concern is unfounded?

We are trying to figure out the wdh/sway bar "thang." Are they the same? Do you need only one or the other? Anderson says their hitch is a sway control ....

I do not pull a 5th Wheels, but pulled 48 ft floats behind a LTL 9000 ford, but if i did ,i don't care much for the tubing, looks like it was just flattened out and welded, not sure about that pyramid style set up , but i would not be the one useing that set up ,i do like the Anderson levelers ... And b1mmuo27 ??? what are the Jaycoissues you are referring to ??

Did you not see casalzer post in my restoring posts? Read what he had said there. Then he started this post. Don't knock what you don't know. Andersen has a $5 million rider on that hitch if it fails. Too many people offer opinions on things they don't know or have tried. When people think outside the box this is what happens. The majority of people with 5th wheels have a 5th wheel hitch. That is all they have experienced so a gooseneck is a bad hitch because its outside their norm.

fYI, I spent a couple of hours visiting with the owner and inventer of the Anderson hitch. Anyway he showed me the 5th wheel hitch that he uses it is aluminum and super light and way strong. He pull all sorts of trailers with it. I think the issues is it looks too simple to actually work so people don't give it a chance but it is very impressive. I use they trailer version and love mine.

Checked it out and looked at a video, the levelers that they make work great for us, they have went to a lot to develop there new 5th Wheel hitch,if i had a 5th Wheel TT i would give it a try.... i like the weight savings, and the ease of installation.....
