Andersen Jack Blocks?

Anyone using them? I could see these being an all-in-one solution for jack weight distribution, prevention of overstroke error, and quick leveling, with the added bonus of more coach stability from shorter jack extension.

Shorter leveling jack shaft length, less rock.

I have one of those for my tongue jack. I really like it. Took the place of a lot of wood blocks piled on top of each other.

I'm also interested in feedback on these blocks. I've got them in my shopping cart to purchase for my new 5th wheel.

I’m surprised they don’t make Tripod style stands like 5th wheels.

I have the Anderson levelers and they are great. Just put them in front of the tires and pull forward till the camper is level side to side and insert the chocks that come with them and your level in less than 2 minutes. I use X-Chocks and it is really steady. Will never go back to stacking blocks and pulling upon them. FYI I also bought the Anderson tire change assist. I did not work for me. I can pull all the way up to the highest point and it will not get my other tire off the ground.

I agree their Levelers are great, I used them on my last rig. But if you click on the link you'll see I am referring to another of their products.

For what it's worth, I ended up ordering a set of the Blocks, and they were good and bad.

Good:
Quick set up
Definitely reduced rock by keeping the shaft extension short.

Bad:
If you're on an unlevel site, there is a chance they won't fit under your jacks even when fully retracted. On a site I was on, it was unlevel by maybe 6 or so inches front to rear, and I could not fit the Blocks under my front jacks.
Also, the lip is about 1.5" wide, and I could definitely see these things sinking over time in muddy ground, requiring periodic releveling.

I ended up returning them.

I have 6x6 wood blocks for the stabilizers and jack. They work great. The Anderson jack blocks aren’t worth $89/pair to me.

I pondered them but due to the the one piece design and the cost, I passed. The way I camp I need to be able to adjust the height of my blocking. I have a crap load of "Lego" style blocks I use. Yet sometimes I don't seem to have enough of them. Lol both of my basement door trays are full of Lego blocks.

I think they are a little spendy for what it is. Also I wonder about them sinking in with the small surface area that touches the ground.

Good insight in this thread. I had used one with the tongue jack on our last TT and was thinking about buying 3 more for the leveling system. Currently rethinking spending 140ish to do that add as we already have a bunch of orange lego blocks with tops.

Good idea, but works no differently than a wood block. Just can't justify the cost.

Camper Cribbing

I thought about buying 4 of these. It seams that I never camp on level ground. I use 2 Xbox 10s to level the axles and carry cement blocks 8 inch and 4 inch for the levelers
if they made these 4 inches tall and stackable, and affordable I would be really interested.

I own a set of Andersen Rapid Jacks and a set of Andersen Levelers. Both are decent enough products, but I think their products are exorbitantly priced, for what they are. I would not pay $40-50 for a tongue jack pad or bucket, whatever this thing is. We use Lynx Levelers on the 4 stabilizer jacks. We bought a set of four five years ago, and they have held up well. We keep them in their original carrying bags.

If you are concerned about front to rear movement, I would recommend a set of BAL Wheel Chocks. They do a great job, as do the BAL adjustable Lock Arm Stabilizers. We have ours installed for left to right movement.

Unfortunately, I have too many other things on our Jayco taking my hard-earned money; many of them are things that are due to poor construction and/or design, and others are upgrades for cruddy OE items. I am growing weary of spending money on our TT.

On the tongue jack, wood 2x squares and a 2x concrete paver are gonna be it for me.

Don’t know of any, but after nearly 2 years of having my current rig, I’d recommend the blocks.

Even though I can’t use them on all six jacks all of the time, like currently, I do get to use them often and they are a lot easier to deploy and remove vs lots of lego blocks.

I don’t regret buying them.

Thanks, I have a Pinnacle that needs 6 blocks, so guess I'll just have to bite the bullet.

I have six blocks. They do a great job in eliminating the need to extending your middle and rear legs with the pin. They are stable and I have found no need for a tripod in the front. No more "out of stroke" errors... because the legs do not need to travel as far for a level position. The two small magnets make setup easy because they stick to the foot pad

I've only had a couple of occasions where I couldn't get the block under the pad because of ground clearance which was easily remedied with a small folding camping shovel.

They are large and take up room when stored but for me, they were well worth the money.
