On another note, we traveled over 5400 miles within three weeks on the Rainier tires on the new Whitehawk20 MRB. No problems, so far.
But, ya never know!

I agree. GY614's here. My wheels are rated for 110 psi.

According to Goodyear's inflation load chart I only need 80 psi in the tires. If I were to have 110 psi in the tires they would be overinflated. Call Jayco with your VIN and get your wheel rating, then get the rig weighed with individual wheel weights. If money is not an issue you can switch to 17.5 inch wheels and get the Goodyear G114. Clearance is not a problem as the G114 and G614 are nearly the same diameter.

Did you check the wheels when the old tires were broken down? Often times the info is stamped in the valley =inside=.

Not wheel failures, per se, but pinhole wheel leaks aren't unknown, especially on Chinese-made aluminum wheels.

Ok. 6 lug wheels are rated as t 80 psi and 8 lug wheels are rated at 110 psi.. my Tow max 235 80 16 tires all had thread separation. (Crowning) after 1 year with 1000 miles on them . Took to a towmax tires dealer and he warranty them with maxxis upgrade . Total cost was $80.55. For mounting , balancing. And steel valve stems. Can't get better them that.

My 8 lug wheels that came stock with my 351RSTS were stamped on the inside at 80psi. Some maybe 110psi, but not all.

Similar here. Eight lug alloys, metal high pressure valve stems affixed with screw on threaded nuts, road hazard coverage and have run 110 psi for 6 years. Lug nuts always torque checked to 100 ft lbs. My wheels came with thin metal "jackets" on the lug nuts which were a cheap substitute for what was needed. I dumped them and replaced them with chrome high quality lug nuts.
If your spare is on a steel wheel, you should carry eight open ended lug nuts since in most cases the lug nuts for alloys will bottom out on a steel wheel. I do the same for my truck.
Cheers

I agree. You have to look at your wheels.

Where did you find a Towmax dealer? That's the first I have heard of a local dealer. Sounds like you were treated well.
