Another Vote for Dual Pane Windows

Yesterday I decided to cook up a batch of vegetable/beef soup. When I do this I use a 16 quart pot because I can freeze a lot for future use. Knowing it was cold outside and cooking this much (I cooked it for 6 hours) I knew I would be putting a bit of moisture in the Designer. I did open the ceiling vent in the kitchen, but did not run the fan.
I checked the walls and windows and window frames several times during the cook and never noticed the first bit of moisture.
I'm happy I have the dual pane windows and polar package. It works for me. I have seen a low temp here of 13 degrees so far this winter and no condensation anywhere yet.

Ed,

It's great to know you are quite pleased with the windows. They can tell me at the factory how great they are, but there's nothing like hearing it from a satisfied owner!

I'm sure I may get some condensation at some point, but not yet. The only precaution I take against it forming is like I said about opening the kitchen vent yesterday while cooking (no fan) and opening the vent in the bath when I shower. I do run the bath fan while in the shower, but turn it off as soon as I finish the shower. One shower was taken when it was 13 degrees outside so this was probably a pretty good test.

I have checked the closets and inside cabinets over and under the TV. No condensation anywhere that I can find.

Dual panes and the polar package do work very well. I cook all the time, and also have two german shepherds in the fiver, even with the minus 20 cold outside I have set to find any condensation problems in my unit.

I had a Cardinal a few years back, top of the line from 1998, anyways, the bedroom floor was soaked, like a five gallon bucket of water was dumped on the carpet, all due to continuing condensation. All the walls in the trailer were constantly wet.

And here it is 5 months after my original post and I'm on the gulf coast, 85 degrees outside and I'm nice and cool inside. My a/c's are cycling on and off, but I will admit more on right now than this morning. My site has late afternoon shade, but in the heat of the day I'm right in the bright sun.
The dual pane windows and insulation package is mandatory for me.

X3 Love the Dual Pane Windows, would not have another 5th Wheel without them, no condensation and less noise.

This is so great to hear our 2013 eagle has the dual pane gas filled windows and I was wonder if they were worth it. I am sure glad to hear they were. Wasnt sure about them at first because they are slide window not crank out at bottom. They look as if they will open better also to let more air in. Well I cant wait to use our new trailer, anyway thanks for the post oh yea I have the polar package also.

I ordered them on my 2007 Eagle TT love them! Much better built than the single pane ones. No problems five years and counting. The best 1250.00 you will spend if you order your unit.

I like our dual pane windows. It's quieter and the heater and AC work less to keep the RV comfortable.
