Antenna woes

My 2017 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS has an issue with the AM/FM Furrion radio reception being terrible at best. Any suggestions to boosters etc. to help me get past the three crappy stations that I receive.?
Thanks
Paul

Might be the antenna. Ours was missing the insulator between the centre and the outside mount. Used a small o ring fixed the problem

Make sure the antenna is plugged into the radio. Mine wasn't.

Haven't used radio in forever. Put most of our favorite music on a USB flash drive which plugs into the head unit. No commercials and just keeps looping. I think we have over 9 hours of different songs on the little drive we use. Could store much more if we wanted.

How do you check this? Mine started out ok on a new unit, then after a rough road back to the same campground, I get more static than music on the same station. Loose connectors make sense.

Take the four screws out that hold the radio in. Pull the radio out and look on the back, the antenna coax should be screwed into the back of the radio. On my Furrion there is a black cover that snaps over the front of the radio that hides the screws. My coax wasn’t screwed into the radio from the factory.
