Once connected to the truck and the legs are all the why up. I never lower the legs when disconnecting. Let the rig lower them the ground and raise the RV to disconnect, and then (when ready) let the LCI auto level.

The only other way to ensure the tires stay on the ground (in a sloped Lot) is to use 2X8s to raise the rear.

So after traveling from Texas to Illinois, stopping on several state lands along the way. The slide works flawlessly. Never pinned the landing gear legs.

Of course I have done slider seal maintenance and motor/track lubing along the way too.
