Unfortunately, not this year. Although we will be driving the TV to Atlanta to visit wife's family. The kids and I asked if I could bring the 5er, but DW said no...we have to stay at BIL's house.

Nope, too cold here so we decided to head to St. Pete and will be celebrating NYE at Johns Pass.

John's Pass is a beautiful place to be celebrating. Good seafood all around you. We are currently camping up to New Year at R. Shaefer Heard Coe Campground on West Point Lake, in West POint, GA.

No camping.
Just dinner and dancing (live band + open bar) at a local hotel.

We are. Kids have next week AND the week after off for their break, so we are headed south after Christmas. Few days near Savannah, few days in Stone mountain state park near Atlanta (including New Year's), then down to Fort Wilderness for a few days.
Hoping for nice warm weather!

The wife and I will be camping in the recliners in the basement by the fireplace sipping liquids that go down smooth and warms you on the inside. Too cold to venture out here in the Midwest.
Hurry up spring!

I love St. Simons Island. I haven't been there in 18 years tho. Check out Jekyll Island while you're there. Although I've heard from friends that they have been developing the south side of the island now...that's a shame.

In 2014 we towed down and stayed on Jekyll. Had a great time. I understand the new development blocks the ocean view as you arrive over the causeway.

New Years Eve Camping
We are heading to southern Utah tomorrow for Christmas and then D& SIL will take it to Lake Mead for New Years Eve Camping. Have friends who did Parker, AZ last year and enjoyed fireworks from across the water/ Lake Havasu, but quiet with minimal campers at the site.

New Years
Laughlin, NV for gambling and fireworks. Not really roughing it in the Riverside Resort campground, but usually win enough to take some home!! High on a hill overlooking the Colorado River.
